What does it cost?
No monthly fee, no terminal, no setup fee. 2.4% + 30¢ per successful payment — you only pay when you get paid.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own bank account on Stripe’s normal payout cycle. It never sits with us.
How do I take payment on site?
Open the invoice and show the Scan to Pay code on your phone. The customer scans it and pays from their own phone in seconds.
Can I take deposits?
Yes. Send a deposit invoice the moment a quote is accepted, or take a deposit when a customer books online through your booking link.
How do I set it up?
In the app go to Settings → robot Pay. It takes a few minutes — you’ll need your ABN and the bank account you want paid into.
Terminal price is a typical Australian card-terminal rental (e.g. Tyro Pro, September 2026). robot Pay fees are per successful payment, inc. GST where applicable.
