How to connect ServiceM8
Turn every accepted quote into a ServiceM8 job — client, site address and materials included.
Once ServiceM8 is connected, a customer accepting your quote creates a job in ServiceM8 by itself. No retyping the client, the address or the line items.
Connect your ServiceM8
- 1Tap Settings, then open Integrations.
- 2Tap the ServiceM8 row.
- 3Tap Connect ServiceM8.
- 4Sign in to ServiceM8 and allow access when it asks.
- 5You’ll come back to Settings with “ServiceM8 connected”. The row shows Connected and your ServiceM8 account name.
ServiceM8 is part of your paid plan and your trial. On the free tier the button reads Upgrade to connect.
What lands in ServiceM8
When a customer accepts one of your quotes, robot creates a new job in ServiceM8 with:
- The client — matched to an existing ServiceM8 client by name, or created fresh with their email and phone.
- The site address from the customer’s details.
- A job contact, so whoever’s on site knows who to call.
- A job description with the quote number, title, total, payment stages and a link to the signed quote.
- Materials — one for each quote line, at the unit price and quantity from your quote.
- The job is set to Work Order, because it’s signed work, not a lead.
Section headings and any optional items the customer said no to are left out of the materials.
Keep your quoted prices
The materials come across at the prices you quoted. ServiceM8 can offer to update material prices from its own price list.
Don’t press ServiceM8’s Apply Changes price banner on these jobs. It can swap your quoted prices for your ServiceM8 price list, and the job won’t match what the customer signed.
Line items not coming across?
If you connected ServiceM8 a while back, your connection may be missing the permission robot now uses for materials. The job still gets created, but without the line items.
Fix it once: open Settings → Integrations → ServiceM8, tap Disconnect, then Connect ServiceM8 again. Quotes accepted after that bring their line items with them.
Disconnect or reconnect
To stop creating jobs, open Settings → Integrations → ServiceM8 and tap Disconnect.
If the row says Needs reconnect, the connection has stopped working — usually because the add-on was turned off in ServiceM8. Tap Reconnect ServiceM8.
