For builders: tender the electrical and send plans to sparkies
Mark up the plan, download an unpriced scope of electrical works, and send it to electricians who price it on their own copy.
Builders use the same planner to put the electrical out to tender. Your electricians get a clean scope and their own copy of the plan to price.
Who sees this
These options show on builder accounts. In Next steps, builders see Generate tender and Send to electrician instead of Create quote.
Generate the tender
- 1Mark up the plan and save it.
- 2Tap Next steps → Generate tender (Full scope of electrical works, unpriced).
- 3robot downloads a Scope of electrical works PDF.
- Scope sections with quantities — no prices, no labour.
- The switch schedule, the switchboard and the product list.
- A basis-of-tender section so every electrician prices the same thing.
Send the plan to an electrician
They get an email with a link. When they open it they get their own copy of the plan. Anything they change stays on their copy — yours isn’t touched. On their Plans page it shows as Shared.
- 1Tap Next steps → Send to electrician (They get their own copy to mark up — free).
- 2Type their email and anything they should know.
- 3Tap Send the plan.
Track prices under Tenders
Open Tenders to see every plan you’ve put out to price. Add electricians to a tender, type in their prices as they come back, and mark the one you’ve Awarded. The card shows the spread between the lowest and highest price.
