How to add a discount or promotion
Take money off, or throw in a freebie, with a countdown that nudges the customer to say yes.
A discount with a deadline, or a free extra like a safety check, gives the customer a reason to accept now instead of shopping around.
Add a discount
- 1In the quote builder, open Discount & promotion.
- 2Tap + Add discount.
- 3Choose $ or % and type the amount. It comes off the subtotal before GST.
- 4Optional: type a popup & badge message (e.g. Winter special — locked in just for you). Leave it blank for a standard message.
When there’s a discount, the customer’s button reads Accept quote & lock in discount.
Add a promotion
A promotion is a freebie instead of (or as well as) a discount. It pops up for the customer and lands on their quote as an Included item.
- 1In Discount & promotion, tap + Add promotion.
- 2Give it a Title (e.g. Free Safety Check) and an optional Description.
- 3Set Valued at ($). It shows crossed out next to a FREE badge — it never changes the quote total.
- 4Tap Add to quote.
Set how long the offer lasts
Once a discount or promotion is on, set Offer valid for in days. That’s the countdown your customer sees, and it covers both the discount and the promotion.
Reuse your promotions
Every promotion you add is saved to your promotions automatically. Next time, open Start from a saved promotion in the Promotion popup and pick one. Tap the × next to a saved one to delete it.
To take either off a quote, tap Remove next to the discount or promotion.
