How to get your files ready for tax time and BAS
Download everything your accountant asks for as spreadsheets: invoices and GST, payments, timesheets, vehicle logs and more.
Tax time shouldn’t mean a weekend of digging. Pick the quarter or financial year, tap a file, and it downloads as a spreadsheet ready to send to your accountant.
Open Tax time
- 1Open Settings and tap Tax time.
- 2Pick a period: This quarter, Last quarter, This FY or Last FY. Last quarter is picked for you, as that’s usually what BAS needs.
- 3Tap Download next to the file you want.
What you can download
Files open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. If there’s nothing for that period yet, robot tells you instead of downloading an empty file.
- Invoices & GST — every invoice issued: ex GST, GST and total, paid or not.
- Payments received — what was paid in the period. Handy for a cash-basis BAS.
- Timesheets — hours, breaks and overtime per person per day.
- Hours by job — clock-on time on each job, per person.
- Vehicle register — every vehicle: rego, due date, last service, driver and km in the period.
- Vehicle log book — every trip: who drove, when, odometer and km.
Need a custom date range?
For invoices, go to Work → Invoicing and tap Export. Pick This month, Last month, This FY or All time, or set your own From and To dates, then tap Download CSV. The file includes the customer’s company name and ABN.
