How to create and send a quote
Start a quote, add lines from your Pricing Library, check it and send it by email or SMS.
A quote that looks sharp and lands on the customer’s phone the same day wins more work. Here’s the whole run, start to send.
Start a new quote
- 1Go to Quotes and tap the purple + (New quote).
- 2Pick the customer — search your list or add a new one on the spot.
- 3Type a Quote name (e.g. Kitchen renovation — powerpoints + downlights). Customers see this as the headline.
- 4Tap Create quote. The quote builder opens.
Tap Scope under the quote name to write what the job covers. The customer sees it as the intro to the quote.
Add your lines
Prefer to talk it through? Tap Write this quote with AI (or Add lines with AI once you have lines), describe the job, and robot drafts the lines priced from your Pricing Library. Check them before you send.
- 1Open Line items.
- 2Tap Pricing Library (or Library on a phone) to pick items you’ve already priced.
- 3Tap + New line for a one-off item, then fill in the name, description, Qty and Unit price.
- 4Tick This is labour on labour lines so they’re tracked as labour.
Group lines into sections
Sections break a job into parts — Rough-in, Fit-off, Materials — each with its own subtotal.
- 1Tap + New section at the bottom of Line items and name it.
- 2Add lines inside it with + New line or Pricing Library.
- 3Drag lines to reorder them. Collapse a section to tidy up while you work.
Check it before it goes
- 1Tap Next steps at the top of the builder.
- 2Tap Preview quote to see exactly what your customer will see.
- 3Tap Download PDF if you want the same PDF your customer gets.
Everything saves as you go. Save and exit just takes you back to your quotes list.
Send it by email or SMS
- 1Tap Next steps → Send to customer (or Send at the bottom on your phone).
- 2Tick Email, SMS or both. Check the recipient and message.
- 3Leave Attach PDF copy to the email ticked if you want the PDF attached.
- 4Tap Send now.
If you’ve set a payment schedule, it has to add up to 100% before you can send. Lines with no price get flagged so you can double-check them.
